KEY TERMS AND DEFINITIONS
- NFS: nFlux Solutions, it's officers and employees, partners, and subordinates.
WHAT THIS PRIVACY POLICY COVERS
- This policy covers how nFlux Solutions (hereafter named as NFS) treats personal information that NFS collects and receives, including information related to your past use of NFS products and services. Personal information is information about you that is personally identifiable like your name, address, email address, or phone number, and that is not otherwise publicly available.
- This policy does not apply to the practices of companies that NFS does not own or control, or to people that NFS does not directly employ or manage. In addition, certain NFS associated companies may have their own privacy statements which can be viewed by visiting the respective website. Freelance contractors employed by NFS are not bound by this Policy, and as such, are not granted the same level of access to your information.
INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE
NFS collects personal information when you register with NFS, when you use NFS products or services, when you visit NFS pages or the pages of certain NFS partners, when you inquire about NFS products or services, when you submit a Request For Proposal (RFP) to NFS, when you submit a testimonial to NFS, et cetera. NFS may also combine the information we have about you with that of key strategic alliances, financial institutions, et cetera.
- When you register we ask for information such as your name, email address, birth date, zip code, occupation, industry, and other information. For some financial products and services we may also ask for your address, Social Security number, and information about your assets. Once you register with NFS and sign in to our services, you are not anonymous to us.
- NFS collects information about your transactions with us and with some of our business partners, including information about your use of financial products and services that we have previously offered, currently offer, or may choose to offer in the future.
- NFS automatically receives and records information on our server logs from your browser, including your IP address, NFS cookie information, the page(s) you request, the page(s) which referred you to our website, how long you visit our website, your operating system, browser model and version, proxy information, general geographic location, and other details necessary for our System Security, Defense, and Investigation and/or Research & Development divisions.
- NFS uses information for the following general purposes: to customize your browsing experience, fulfill your requests for products and services, improve our services, contact you, conduct research, and provide anonymous reporting for internal research.
- nFlux Solutions will never sell, trade, or make available certain private information without your prior consent. This includes your email address, telephone number, physical address, and other personal information. We may, at our discretion, choose to highlight our experience with you in our Portfolio, testimonial section, or other area on the NFS website. You have the right at any time to have this information removed by submitting a written request to NFS.
CHILDREN
- Because the relationship we have with our visitors is financial and professional in nature, NFS does not knowingly collect information about Children on this website. Children are defined as minors under the age of thirteen (13) who do not have the consent of their parent(s) or guardian(s) to submit personal information to NFS.
- In the event that it is discovered by NFS that personal information about a Child has been collected by NFS, our Security Response Team will work to remove the information, and investigate and suggest to the Research & Development Division possible methods to restrict the act from recurring.
INFORMATION SHARING AND DISCLOSURE
- NFS does not rent, sell, or share personal information about you with other people or nonaffiliated companies except to provide products or services you've requested, when we have your permission, or under the following circumstances:
- We provide the information to trusted partners who work on behalf of or with NFS under confidentiality agreements. These companies may use your personal information to help NFS communicate with you. However, these companies do not have any independent right to share this information.
- We respond to subpoenas, court orders, or legal process, or to establish or exercise our legal rights or defend against legal claims;
- We believe it is necessary to share information in order to investigate, prevent, or take action regarding illegal activities, suspected fraud, situations involving potential threats to the physical safety of any person, violations of NFS's terms of use, or as otherwise required by law.
- We transfer information about you if NFS is acquired by or merged with another company. In this event, NFS will notify you before information about you is transferred and becomes subject to a different privacy policy.
- NFS may display certain client information based on a prior working relationship on its website, in print for advertisement or incentives for potential clients, or other means. This may include, but is not limited to, testimonials the client provides in favor of NFS interests; links to public areas of the client's website(s) that NFS created, modified, or otherwise operated on; the client's likeness or the likeness of said client's business, including logo, slogan, "catch-phrase," images, text, or other depictions.
- NFS does not provide any personal information to the public as described herein.
- NFS agrees to remove the information pursuant to a successfully-submitted and reviewed written request by the client.
- NFS will not include any personal information not directly related and necessary to convey the meaning of the statement(s), and will never include information it knows to be potentially damaging (such as financial information or access to private areas of the client site).
COOKIES
- NFS may set and access NFS cookies on your computer. We will not intentionally access any other cookies stored on your computer, and will not store, divulge, or make any record of any information, public or private, discovered as a result of an accidental access.
YOUR ABILITY TO EDIT AND DELETE YOUR ACCOUNT INFORMATION AND PREFERENCES
GENERAL
- You can edit your NFS account information at any time.
- New categories may be added from time to time. Users who are already subscribed to one area or service may automatically have their information included in the expanded area(s) or service(s), but will not incur any charge without the express consent of the user.
- We reserve the right to send you certain communications relating to the NFS service, such as service announcements, administrative messages, newsletters, and other messages that are considered pertinent to your NFS account, without offering you the opportunity to opt-out of receiving them.
- You can delete your NFS account at any time by requesting a manual removal of your information. Please note, however, that certain information may remain archived in our system or other records. This may include Accounts Receivable information for tax purposes, information in the private interests of NFS, or other personal information. For more information, please contact us.
CONFIDENTIALITY AND SECURITY
- We limit access to personal information about you to personnel or authorized agents who we believe reasonably need to come into contact with that information to provide products or services to you or in order to do their jobs.
- We have physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to protect personal information about you, and exceed these regulations by enacting our own, more restrictive mandates.
- NFS engages the services of a third-party arbitrator to assist in developing policies, procedures, and protective measures to safeguard your information.
CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
- NFS may update this policy at any time without notice to you. However, we will attempt to notify you about significant changes in the way we treat personal information by sending a notice to the primary email address specified in your NFS account or by placing a prominent notice on our site.
